It's greens season. Tender baby spinach, salad mixes (often called mesculin) and peppery-tasting arugula are making their yearly debut now at farmer's markets. Depending on where you live, you'll also find locally grown, fresh-picked strawberries, raspberries or cherries at your market. They make the perfect after-dinner treat all on their own.
Since early evenings these days are often punctuated by thunderstorms, we paired our greens with two easy-going chicken dishes that have the same ingredients but different cooking methods. So you can either grill the chicken outside or sauté it inside, depending on the weather.
Sop up all the flavorful juices with a simple bruschetta (also easily made indoors or out!).
