A spa vacation is one of the best ways we know to relax, unwind and forget (temporarily) all your cares. Most spas are known for their incredible massages, mud baths or adventure hikes, but they also have some of the most wonderful—and healthy—food.

If you can't get away for your own piece of spa heaven, have a spa day at home with these fresh and energizing recipes. Even better—have someone else cook for you while you relax and recharge.

Eat spa meals all the time, customized for you. Learn more about all the benefits of the FoodFit Plan.

Slimming Starts

Before you head off to sunrise yoga or a stroller run with the baby, start the day with a light Spring Fruit Salad and our Strawberry-Peach Muesli. Afterwards, quench your thirst with spa chef Bill Wavrin's Georgia Peach Cooler. You won't taste the tofu, but you'll be sipping the benefits of the mighty soybean.

If you're looking for something more substantial, but still want to eat light, fortify yourself with our Eggs Scrambled with Fresh Bell Peppers and Onions. Add a slice of wholegrain bread, and you have a perfect breakfast.

Light Lunches

Whether you've spent the morning aligning your shakras or folding laundry, it's time to take a well-deserved break for an afternoon repast. Joyce Goldstein's Couscous Salad with Almonds, Raisins, Orange Zest and Saffroned Onions is the perfect flavor and texture mix of crunchy, chewy, sweet and tart. On the side, enjoy a cup of refreshing Cold Cucumber and Honeydew Melon Soup with Crab.

Add a little sparkle to your afternoon with a Minty Lime Cooler from sunny Santa Monica's Border Grill. Or, feel like you've just taken a dip in the pool with a glass of Alice Waters' Meyer Lemon Lemonade.

De-light-ful Dinners

The day is winding down, so take time to relax and reflect over a well-balanced meal. Our Grilled Tuna with Pink Grapefruit and Avocado Relish is chock-full of healthy, unsaturated fats from the tuna and avocado, and rich in phytonutrients and vitamin C from the grapefruit. This dish is incredibly light too, at a mere 248 calories and only 25 percent calories from fat.

Since you've been so good and healthy all day, you deserve to treat yourself. Indulge in a slice of Rustic Fresh Blueberry Peach Tart. If you want to be really true to the spa experience, opt for our exceptionally light Lemon Angel Cake with Strawberries.
