We have been SLAMMED here at work for the past few weeks!
I have been EXHAUSTED and go home for a glass of wine..... well, when I am tired I end up loosing track and I drink TOO MUCH wine.... then I am tired from that....
I guess what I am trying to say is that when I am tired I make poor choices. Do any of you do that?
what a week! Glad it's over.

Hi, ladies. I agree totally. I think most of my poor eating choices come from stress and being tired. I'm hoping to fix that soon, though.

2x4 - I think ALL of my bad-calorie choices are from a combinationof fatigue and stress. really. I've been analyzing this for a few months now. when I was on vacation, kidless, and stress free, I didn't over eat at all, and I enjoyed my choices. I also slept heavily for the first week, and not just from jetlag! I needed to catch up, and rest, and recover.
dont you think there is something wrong when we need to "recover" from our day to day lives? it bugs me.
I more and more think all of my weight problems stem directly from stress. my stress comes from being locked into a lifestyle that is inherantly unhealthy. too many hours of work, too much work at home, too much lost sleep trying to be everything to everbody. Too many kid's separate activities, too much shuttling and too many nights where I only have a half hour to prepare and eat dinner.
I really need to find a way to manage the stress, let go of the type-one agressive working style, quit worrying about being the next walter cronkite and take care of myself.
I need to slow down. and I think when that happens, the weight will come off. finding that happy balance, though - that's the tough part.
