Hello. I don't know about most other people, but I'm the only parent my kid has (he's 3) and I'm trying to come up with workout ideas. Part of the problem, however, is that he's still at the developmental stage where everything I can think of that would be fun and healthy for me would be too much or impossible for him.

For instance: I like to hike. However, 19 blocks wear him out, so 1 mile would kill him. A lot of "off trail" hiking areas have roots and rocks making the trail a non-ideal place to take a wagon to, so that seems to be out of the question. I have a book to teach myself yoga as best as I can, but since I don't know what I'm doing I feel that I'm not yet ready to teach him. I would run, but I don't like running and he can't even keep up with me when I'm walking!

I don't have the money to spend money in a parent-child class, so does anyone have any ideas as to what you can do for exercise with a 3-year-old? I don't have the time to work out when he's not around, and I feel like I'm getting nowhere here (because I'm not).
