HI! I'm glad to have finally gotten myself geared up for healthier eating. The problem I have ran into with any sort of diet or healthy menu plan is they all include dairy. I need to avoid all milk derivatives if at all possible. I would love to find a diet plan made specifically for dairy allergy; I see tons for peanut, wheat, etc allergies. I have a few of my own things I substitute- but I don't know how healthy it is, tofu in place of ricotta cheese, I drink soy milk, I have finally found soy yogurt (ITS SUCH A TREAT!)- Soy cheese- but that's about it. Need something new and LOFAT HEALTHY!

Hi, I too am dairy allergic as well as my two children. Soy everything is a wonderful treat, but we have also found that goat milk does the trick for us. The proteins in it are completely different, you should give it some research. We bake and cook with it all the time. We also use Feta cheese made from sheep milk for almost all our cooking.(even as a pizza topping). I know they sound icky but really, you don't even notice a difference in taste. Just thought I'd give you some alternative suggestions. Hope they help!

| OK I see that I am very late in responding to this post, but my husband and I are both allergic to dairy and that makes it difficult to cook sometimes.. I started using non dairy creamer when cooking and even in cereal sometimes.. its not too bad.. a little sweet, but in cooking you can usually balance that out with spices. Its worked really well for us over the years |
