Hi fatty fatty! I live in DC and hate it here, but that's another topic. I teach yoga once or twice a week - a gentle slow version, but my real passion is quilting. I bet I sit and sew on average of 4 hours a day. We have an old Golden Retriever who is wonderful. I have a great husband and two children. My son lives here in DC and my daughter lives in Austin, Tx. |

| Hello all...My name is Tonya and I'm 41 yrs. old. I live in Ohio and the weather here is miserable in the winter...up..down..up...down...it's just a tough climate as I deal with fibromyalgia and systemic lupus and the drastic changes can be tough to handle. I taught high school health and phys. ed for 12 years and loved it, but due to my health issues I had to give up that career and now I am currently unemployed which also is a lot to deal with. Over the last 2 years I have lost about 55 lbs. but over the holidays and recent weeks I have seen some of those pounds creep back on. I want to make sure I get back on track before it gets out of hand so here I am. I have a wonderful husband and 2 stepkids who are basically grown. I guess I am just looking for some great healthy recipes and food ideas along with tips. Also look forward to meeting others who are here for similar reasons. |

| Hey there! I am 18 right now, and have just begun the process of choosing which college I will be attending next year. No matter which college I end up going to,out of my four choices, next year I will be able to play soccer at a division 3 level. I currently am 5'8 and 145 lbs. But I know my ideal soccer weight is around 120 lbs. Here in Iowa it's pretty cold and snowy, but I've been skiing like crazy, and I am really glad I found this forum to use as a weight progress and checking in point! |

Hello again old friend foodfit :) it's been a while! Rosaleen from Dublin, Ireland here. Have just hit major all time high for me at 192 lbs. When I was here back in 2003 i think I was fighting 154lbs.... been through two children's weddings, two grandchildren and a lot of ups and downs - and now I find myself focussing on me again :) I know it's a major dramatic move but I started that food replacement thing again last week. Three years ago it worked to shift a couple of stone from my creaking bones (I'm 51 and weight on gives me joint trouble) - so am on it again for month of March and then hope to get into healthy living for good. Can't believe I have let myself slip into bad behaviour with food and alcohol. Have been swigging wine like there's no tomorrow and had reached the stage where I'd be having a glass of wine BEFORE i went out to dinner and making sure there was some for me when i came back. So i'm on quit or die mode at the moment - gave up the cigarettes last Sunday too :/ - am going for broke :) - hence back to foodfit my friend of old. Am not finding it bad, as once I have no choices I seem to be able to click off a switch in my head and just do other things - it's when I suddenly am faced with choices that i make all the bad ones..... maybe I need to see a therapist :) anyway, thanks for the space, xxxx Rosaleen |

I am a vegetarian and would like to know if anyone out their is Vegan...I try to eat healthy..but my daughter and husband are telling me to eat red meat. I eat lots of tofu and beans and I feel that is enough protein. I need your opinion. Thank you. |
