Losing weight is a national obsession. Two-thirds of Americans are overweight, and half are obese. Many people look for a magical cure to end the struggle with the scale.

FoodFit set out to discover what our members think about this pressing issue, from how to shed pounds to whether the government needs to do more to prevent obesity. We conducted an extensive survey in May, with surprising results.
