Methodology and Demographics
FoodFit.com's online survey of consumer views about weight loss and other issues was conducted from May 10 to May 20, 2004. Survey respondents were recruited via email, newsletters and site promotions. An overwhelming majority of respondents were women. Nearly 13% of those polled were members of the FoodFit Plan.
70% of those polled were from 25 to 54 years of age. Just over half had household incomes of more than $50,000, and nearly a third had household incomes above $75,000. 40% of the respondents were in two-person households.
