4. How do I plan meals using FoodFit recipes?
Using the Menu Planner, you can choose the type of food you'd like to have for your main course and we help you build a menu around that. You will receive options for the entrée, and then you choose the appetizers, side dishes and desserts you'd like to include in the menu. You can also print a shopping list for that menu. The Menu Planner is available to FoodFit Diet & Fitness Plan members only. To join the Plan, click here.

6. How do I know the calories assigned by the FoodFit Diet Plan are right for me?
Your personalized diet plan is based on the information you provided in your FoodFit Profile. This information is used to calculate your BMI or Body Mass Index, which is a measure of your weight for your height. Your BMI along with your weight goals are used to develop your personalized meal plans.

7. Can I still drink alcohol if I am on the FoodFit Diet Plan?
The FoodFit Diet does not include alcohol on the menus. If you do choose to have one or two drinks throughout the week, keep in mind the calorie counts and adjust your diet accordingly. One light beer (12 ounces) has 150 calories, a 7 ounce glass of wine has about 140 calories and 1.5 ounces of 80 proof distilled spirits has about 100 calories.

8. I am not used to eating the portion sizes in the FoodFit Diet Plan. How do I tackle that?
To make sure you are hitting the appropriate calorie level each day, we recommend that you stick to the portion sizes in our recipes. When starting the diet plan you may want to measure everything out. Invest in a food scale and use your measuring spoons and cups to get accurate amounts.

9. I am diabetic. Will the FoodFit Diet & Fitness Plan work for my needs?
Because the FoodFit Diet & Fitness Plan is based around a high-fiber, moderate protein diet derived from fresh produce and whole grains, it's ideal for preventive care. We do have many diabetic members who have experienced success with our plan, but as with all chronic conditions, we suggest you follow our plan in conjunction with your physician's care and approval.
