2 slices whole wheat bread
2 ounce low fat Cheddar cheese (or American or soy cheese)
1 tablespoon light butter spread
1. Preheat a non-stick pan over a medium heat on the stove.
2. On a cutting board or plate, assemble the sandwich and spread the outer surfaces of the bread with the lite butter spread.
3. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for approximately 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
