Spring Fruit Sizzle

This recipe serves:  4
Ingredients
1 teaspoon butter
2 cups cherries, pitted and halved
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup maple syrup
Cooking Instructions
1. In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the fruit and cook until the cherries begin to soften slightly, about 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Add a few twists of freshly ground black pepper and the maple syrup and bring to a boil.

3. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly before serving.

Serving Size: about 1/2 cup
