Fresh Cantaloupe Soup
1 cup plain low fat yogurt
1 cup fruity Gewurztraminer or Riesling white wine
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon honey (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
salt to taste
drops of hot sauce to taste
Garnish: a swirl of pureed and strained raspberries or blackberries
mint leaves and edible flower petals, if desired
2. Pour into a bowl and chill for at least 2 hours for flavors to blend. (This can be made up to a day ahead.)
3. Garnish with berry puree, mint leaves and flowers.
