We found this dish quite tasty. For those who were asking, I used a slotted spoon to remove the shrimp from the pan which left most of the onions and garlic in the pan.

I want to try this recipe. When I read the directions and it says to remove the shrimp, I assume it is meant that the whole shrimp mixture should be removed. I don't think it means to pick the shrimp from the onions. I would like to know, what is prosciutto?! Can I find this ingredient in the average grocery store?

I have NOT tried to make this recipe because I don't quite understand the directions. Must I pick out all the shrimp from the onion and set aside. Seems to me like a picky job cuz I am sure the onion will cling to the shrimp. Or did I mis-understand the directions?
