Quick and easy, This was a really "different" take on green beans. It's like a ceaser salad dressing over beans with a lemon zing. If you like that, you'll love this. Ps It's an easy "weekday night" side! :)
I'm always looking for side dish ideas and this one is a real winner. As another reviewer suggested, the sauce is versatile and can be used for other things including other vegetables, as a dip, and more. I don't like cleaning blenders or food processors and this recipe blends quickly and easily with a spoon in a bowl. Save yourself the trouble and don't mess with the food processor or blender.
This was not bad, but I found the sauce to be too tart. Maybe less lemon would help?
This was delicious! I substituted crushed red pepper for cayenne. This dressing makes a great dip for veggies and crusty french bread.
