  • OK - I must have done something wrong, but it all worked out ok. I do not have any white flour in my kitchen so I used all whole wheat flour. This means you need to add more liquid, but I had to add another 2 cups of buttermilk! I also added 3 bananas (approx 3 cups) for more moisture and banana flavor. Other than that I followed the recipe and will prolly make them again, but I think I will add even more banana for a better banana flavor and a little more of the spices!

  • REALLY GREAT RECIPE!!!!!! I used whole wheat flour, brown sugar and fat-free milk instead of white flour, sugar and buttermilk. Added walnuts. Result: 24 ultra healthy muffins that dissapeared in one day!

  • Very good; I substituted half of the flour with whole-wheat flour to boost the fiber, and added walnuts. Might add blueberries next time.
