My whole family loved this pie. They declared it the best pumpkin pie ever. I made my old version (much more fattening and canned pumpkin) as well so we could do a taste test. I will never go back to canned pumpkin or fattening pumpkin pies. It was confusing at first, when I wasn't sure which size pumpkin I should use, but then I realized I needed approximately 16 oz of cooked, pureed pumpkin because that is the size canned pumpkin you need to create a pie.
