Here's how our rating system works:
First thing you should know, instead of making four 1-cup servings, this recipe made a LOT more than that. Taste-wise, it was OK; I didn't use any cilantro or salt when I made it. If I made it again I would probably cut the amount of vinegar to 1/8 cup and only add 1/4 of a small red onion to the lentils and peppers. I like onions, but 6 hours later I can still taste them. The recipe was alright, but I wish I had halved the recipe -- I'm going to be eating lentils for the rest of my life...
