    I don't care for pureed soups, so I grated the potatoes instead. It worked well. I found thyme to be a bit odd with the flavor of leeks. Overall even my 3 year old enjoyed it.

    Basic recipe but very nice soup. Needed cooking a little longer than directed though.

    I thought at first that yuck--leeks. this receipe was excellent. My husband loved it. Plan to make again in the near future.
