  • I am not a vegetarian, but I do prefer to have meatless meals 2-3 times a week. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by these veggie-burgers. I added extra garlic, herbs, and used a lemon jalepeno mayo along with the usual burger "fixin's" to add flavor. The patties are mushy inside, but I made them thin and sauteed them crispy outside so the contrast makes it acceptable in texture. This is not a burger, but it is a satisfying and healthy veggie-burger. Just remember to really dress it up!

  • I was curious, so I made these burgers about a week ago. They were surprisingly good! While they don't have the same exact texture of a beef burger, or the exact taste, they are great as long as you don't expect them to be like beef. I usually buy soy burgers, but I think these will be my new choice. Easy to make, and I've put my leftovers in the freezer (separated by wax paper so I get take out one at a time), so hopefully they will cok up just as good. These are just perfect for vegans.
