I just joined yesterday(l2-18-01) and I love to try new recipes. I modified it just two servings for my husband and I. It was like eating warm apple pie, I will definately try it again. I also eliminated the sugar cause the syrup was sweet enough. I wish you would also put the sugar amount perserving on the nutrition facts as alot of people are diabetics and are having to watch their sugar intake. Thanks for a great recipe and I look forward to trying something else real soon.

Maybe they were there before, but this recipe is missing the 1½ tablespoons butter and 3 eggs.

This tasted wonderful but I would alter the recipe because my syrup came out extremely runny (could have been my fault). I would cook the apples all the way in the beginning, longer than the recipe states because a lot of my apple slices were still rather crisp. I would also cook the excess moisture off of the syrup to make it less running, I always seem to get something on my shirt and the water-like consistency made eating this without getting it on myself somewhat of a challange. The flavors were wonderful and I will definately make this again!
