I just bought a pie pumpkin from a roadside market (not the orange Jack-O-Lantern type)... this recipe was labor intensive cause I have a small food processor, but it was well worth it!
I added more spice than called for, used 2% milk and toasted sunflower seeds for a garnish! It is also very tasty to stir fresh watercress into a hot bowl and serve immediately!
