Very good recipe, we loved it, hot and cold too ! i ill be making thos again for sure thank you ! i loved the spices with the beans, i was great!

My boyfriend and I *loved* this black bean soup. We happily had it leftover the night after we first had it. I added some cayan pepper which really seemed to help it out in my opinion.

Fabulous flavor with the addition of the sour cream and wonderful avocado salsa. I did not have cloves but used allspice instead. Easy to prepare. I forgot to puree the beans - but still good.

I pureed the whole pot. The kids don't like beans.I thought it was very tasty but the kids couldn't get past the color (brownish).Anyway I didn't have ground cloves so I used a little allspice Very filling, nice with crusty bread.The other Half isn't to keen on avacodos but she did like the salsa.
