Read this recepe and it is almost identical to a Weight Watcher recipe I have that uses Splenda brown sugar, a few raisins and a little quick oats on top the apples, with some apple cider or apple juice poured over then top. I cook the recipe in the microwave for only five (5) minutes and let cool a bit. Just crisp tender. Very very good and filling also. Have made it several times in past month for bedtime snack. Almost like apple pie. If you put Edy ice cream1/2 cup on top of one apple, it is 3 points.

I have tried this receipe before as apples especially Granny Smith are my favourite. However I like the idea of the substitutes of raisins and walnuts. I will try it for sure!

I made the recipe just as it is and my family enjoyed it very much.

Just went to a farm and brought home 10 lbs. of Jonathan apples. This will work great!

Apples are one of my favorite food--always looking for new ways to fix them. I will do this again.
